Here’s my approach to content strategy:

  • Everything is rooted in the customer challenge — What problems do they have? Why do they have these challenges? How can our solution help?

  • Repurpose and reuse. Starting with a main goal/purpose, creating a few rock solid pieces of content, and using those as pillars to branch off from help streamline previously scattered content processes (plus gives target audiences a more cohesive look at what your company does).

  • Keep the human POV. Marketing content (especially B2B brands) can be somewhat stiff. Keeping content relatable and polished is what keeps audiences coming back for more. AI tools can help accelerate content workflows and creation, but shouldn’t be solely relied on as the end-all-be-all.
